Blackened Fish Tacos with Mango Salsa

Ingredients

Blackened Fish

  • 2 pieces fresh fish cod, tilapia or salmon are great options
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp pepper

Mango Salsa

  • 1 avocado
  • 1-2 mangos
  • 1 jalapeño
  • 1 lime
  • cup cilantro
  • ¼ cup red onion
  • Sea salt
  • Taco shells

Instructions

  • Dice avocado, mango, red onion, cilantro, and jalapeño. Toss with lime juice and a sprinkle of sea salt
  • Pat dry fish
  • Rub fish with spices
  • Add avocado oil to a large skillet and heat. Once hot, add fish and cook for 3 minutes
  • Flip and cook for another 3 minutes
  • Heat tortillas
  • Assemble with fish and mango salsa
