Ingredients

  • 1 package Taylor Farms Mini Micro Chopped Citrus Crunch Salad Kit
  • 3 Perdue chicken tenders
  • 1/3 cup Good Culture cottage cheese
  • 2 tbsp Frank's RedHot hot sauce

Instructions

  • Cook the chicken tenders according to package directions (air fry, bake, or pan fry) until golden and cooked through, about 12-15 minutes.
  • While the chicken cooks, open the Taylor Farms Citrus Crunch Salad Kit and empty the salad greens into a large bowl.
  • Add the dressing packet and any toppings included in the salad kit. Toss everything together to combine.
  • Slice the cooked chicken tenders into strips or bite-sized pieces.
  • Arrange the dressed salad in your bowl, then top with the sliced chicken tenders.
  • Spoon the cottage cheese over the salad and drizzle with Frank's RedHot sauce. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Air fryer tip: For the crispiest chicken tenders, air fry at 400°F for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through. No extra oil needed!
  • Dress the salad just before serving: The salad kit dressing will make the greens wilt quickly, so toss and assemble right before eating for the best texture.
  • Meal prep friendly: Cook extra chicken tenders and store them separately in the fridge. Assemble each salad fresh as needed throughout the week.
  • Adjust the heat: Not a fan of spice? Use just 1 tsp of Frank's hot sauce, or swap it for a drizzle of honey mustard or ranch dressing instead.
  • Boost the protein: The cottage cheese adds a creamy, high-protein element — don't skip it! If you're new to cottage cheese on salads, start with a smaller amount and work your way up.
