Ingredients

  • 15 Medjool dates (approximately)
  • 1/2 cup orange chocolate pellets
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate pellets or chips
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup Reese's Pieces
  • 1/2 cup crumbled pretzels
  • Sea salt, to taste

Instructions

  • Remove the pits from each date.
  • Line a baking sheet or plate with parchment paper and add the dates, placing them close together.
  • Using the bottom of a glass, press down on the dates so they flatten into one even layer.
  • Spread the creamy peanut butter over the flattened dates.
  • Melt the orange chocolate in the microwave in 30 second increments (about 3 times), stirring between each, until smooth.
  • Pour the chocolate over the peanut butter layer and place in the freezer for 10 minutes.
  • Melt the dark chocolate and drizzle it over the top, then add the Reese's Pieces and crumbled pretzels and a sprinkle of sea salt.
  • Freeze for 1 hour, then break apart and enjoy. Store in the fridge.

Notes

  • Use any chocolate you love; orange candy melts make it festive but regular chocolate works too.
  • Swap the peanut butter for almond or sunflower seed butter for a nut-free version, and use gluten-free pretzels if needed.
  • Keep the bark in the fridge or freezer so it stays firm.
