2cupsshredded chicken(rotisserie chicken works well here)
1/3cupMayo(you can sub for cottage cheese)
1/2cupGreek yogurt
¼cuphot sauce(or more if you like it spicy)
1tspgarlic powder
1cupshredded cheddar cheese(divided)
1/2tspsalt
1/2tsp pepper
2green onions(optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F
Add shredded chicken to a large bowl and toss with yogurt and mayo
Stir in hot sauce and spices. Add in 1/2 cup of shredded cheese
Add mixture to a small baking dish and top with remainder of cheddar cheese
Bake for 20 minutes
Remove from heat and top with green onions
Serve with veggies, crackers, chips and/or baguette slices
Notes
Green onions add a nice flavour but the dip is still super delicious without them.
For a higher protein dip, swap the mayo with cottage cheese. I’ve made both versions and they are delicious!
If you're making it for the Super Bowl, consider making some football lines on top using mozzarella strips and broiling for a minute or two until the cheese melts.
