Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • cup Frank's RedHot Sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • Pat dry wings really well with paper towel.
  • Add wings to a large bowl with baking powder, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper (or foil). Place a wire rack on top and spray well with cooking spray or rub with oil.
  • Add wings on top and spread apart.
  • Place into the oven and set the timer for 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, in a small sauce pan combine honey, butter and hot sauce until the butter melts and the mixture starts to bubble. Remove from heat.
  • Flip the chicken wings and bake for another 20 minutes.
  • Remove wings and place them in a large bowl. Toss with the sauce and spread them on the wire rack baking sheet again. Bake for 10-15 minutes until crispy and slightly charred.

Notes

  • If you have an air fryer, you can air fry the wings for 20 minutes at 400°F flipping half way through. Toss with sauce and air fry for another 5 minutes.
