Simple Chunky Guacamole (5 Minutes!)

Ingredients

  • 2 avocados
  • 1 lime squeezed
  • 1/4 cup red onion finely diced
  • 1/4 cup tomato diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • jalapeño finely diced optional
  • Tortilla chips (MASA are so good)

Instructions

  • Prep your ingredients: finely dice the red onion, tomato, cilantro, and garlic clove. If using jalapeño, finely dice it as well.
  • Cut each avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a medium mixing bowl.
  • Squeeze the lime juice directly over the avocado.
  • Add the diced red onion, tomato, cilantro, garlic, and sea salt to the bowl.
  • Using a fork, lightly mash and stir everything together until just combined. Keep it chunky — don’t over-mash!
  • Taste and adjust seasoning — add more lime juice for brightness or more salt as needed. Fold in diced jalapeño if desired.
  • Serve immediately with tortilla chips or use as a topping for tacos, grilled proteins, or wraps.
