Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups diced strawberries
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 cups dark chocolate pellets
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  • Wash, dry and dice strawberries.
  • In a bowl, mix together the diced strawberries, Greek yogurt, and maple syrup until well combined.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the mixture per bite and place onto the sheet, forming 9 small mounds.
  • Place the tray in the freezer for 1 hour, or until the bites are fully solid.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  • Remove the frozen yogurt bites from the freezer and dip each one into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  • Place back onto the parchment paper and sprinkle lightly with sea salt.
  • Freeze again for 10–15 minutes until the chocolate shell is set.

Notes

  • For best results, store them in the freezer and then let them thaw for 5-10 mins before eating!
  • If you want to sneak in more protein, you can add in a scoop of your favorite vanilla protein powder when mixing with yogurt.
  • You don't have to fully coat them, you can simply drizzle chocolate on top if that's easier.
  • You can also add a tsp of coconut oil to your chocolate for it to become silky smooth when melted.
  • You can try this with blueberries too!
