1. Slice onions
2. In a large skillet add ¼ cup olive oil and 1 tbsp butter
3. Add onions and sauté on medium-low heat for 20 minutes, stirring often
4. Once onions are caramelized, remove and place on a cutting board to cool
5. Finely dice chives
6. In a medium bowl, combine onions with yogurt, chives, vinegar and spices
7. Serve with chips, baguette, crackers or vegetables
