Viral Boursin Bacon Crackers (Totally Worth the Hype)

Every once in a while, a snack goes viral for a very good reason — and Boursin bacon crackers are exactly that kind of recipe. They’re simple, indulgent, wildly addictive, and somehow manage to feel both fancy and effortless at the same time. With just a handful of ingredients and almost no prep, these little crackers deliver big flavor in every bite: creamy, savory, salty, sweet, and crunchy all at once.

Make sure your cheese is at room temperature, this helps to spread it! Cut your bacon into 4. I like cutting the entire package using kitchen scissors! Place a piece of bacon on top. Sprinkle lightly with sugar and everything bagel seasoning. Bake until the bacon is crisp and the crackers are golden. Let cool slightly (they firm up as they sit), then serve warm or at room temperature. You can skip the everything but the bagel seasoning but I personally loved the extra spice and flavour!

How To Make Viral Boursin Bacon Crackers

The Ingredients

Crackers (Club or Ritz)
Buttery, sturdy crackers work best here since they can hold the toppings.
Substitutes: Town House crackers, wheat crackers, or gluten-free butter crackers.

Boursin Herb & Garlic Cheese
This is the star of the show. Creamy, spreadable, and packed with flavor.
Substitutes: Plain cream cheese, whipped cream cheese, or goat cheese. You can also mix plain cream cheese with garlic powder and dried herbs.

Bacon
Cutting each slice into quarters creates the perfect bite-size piece.
Substitutes: Turkey bacon (crisp it slightly first), prosciutto, or pancetta.

Brown Sugar or Coconut Sugar
Just a light sprinkle adds sweetness and helps the bacon caramelize.
Substitutes: Maple sugar, honey drizzle, or leave it out for a fully savory version.

Everything But the Bagel Seasoning
Adds crunch, salt, and a little garlic-onion punch.
Substitutes: Sesame seeds, poppy seeds, flaky salt, or cracked black pepper.

The Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Line a baking sheet with foil & place a wire rack on top
  • Spread 30 crackers topped with Boursin cheese (be very gentle to not break the crackers when adding the cheese - make sure the cheese is at room temperature
  • Top each with a piece of bacon
  • Sprinkle with sugar and everything seasoning
  • Bake for 25-30 mins until bacon is crispy (be careful not to overcook it)
  • Let cool & enjoy!!!

  • 2 tbsp everything but the bagel seasoning
