Everyday Green Smoothie

There is no better way to start your day than with a delicious and nutritious green smoothie. We've been having this smoothie daily for the last few years and when we don't have it, we are in serious withdrawal! If you want to switch it up or are missing a few ingredients - no worries! Spinach, bananas, frozen fruit and water are the base ingredients! A few other tips: we always buy washed boxed spinach for ease, frozen fruit are also super handy. We love to add everything into the blender the night before and place the top part of the blender right into the fridge. Blend in the morning right before serving!

Ingredients

2 handfuls of spinach, washed
1 banana
1 celery stalk
1 small apple
1 slice of lemon (with peel)
1 cup frozen pineapple
1 ¼ cups cold water

Directions

1. Add all ingredients to a high speed blender (we love our Vitamix) and blend until smooth
